The Pearl Ribbon Lapel Pin has been used to promote public awareness of people suffering with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), this is a condition that affects the immune system attacking the central nervous system which leads to demyelination. It is suggested between 2 and 150 people in 100,000 will be affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) most commonly affecting young adults and women.
